Account Registration

1. Account Creation: Users must create an account to access certain features of our Services. Users agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration.

Use of Services

1. Permitted Use: Users may use GigoEscrow Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
2. Prohibited Use: Users must not use GigoEscrow for any fraudulent, illegal, or unauthorized purpose. This includes, but is not limited to, money laundering, financing terrorism, or engaging in any activity that exploits, harms, or attempts to exploit or harm minors.

Transaction Process

1. Initiating Transactions: Buyers and Sellers agree to use GigoEscrow to facilitate and complete their transactions.
2. Escrow Account: Funds will be held in a secure escrow account until all terms of the transaction are met.
3. Release of Funds: Funds will be released to the Seller upon confirmation from both parties that the transaction terms have been satisfied.
4. Disputes: In the event of a dispute, Users agree to follow GigoEscrow’s dispute resolution process.

Fees and Payments

1. Service Fees: Users agree to pay all applicable fees for the use of GigoEscrow Services. Fees will be clearly outlined before initiating any transaction.
2. Payment Methods: Users must use valid payment methods for transactions. GigoEscrow does not accept responsibility for any losses due to fraudulent or unauthorized use of payment methods.

User Responsibilities

1. Accurate Information: Users must provide accurate information when using GigoEscrow and promptly update any information that becomes outdated.
2. Compliance: Users must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including tax obligations related to their transactions.

Intellectual Property

1. Ownership: All content on GigoEscrow, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of GigoEscrow or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.
2. License: GigoEscrow grants Users a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Services for personal and commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.

Privacy

1. Privacy Policy: GigoEscrow’s collection and use of personal information are governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

Limitation of Liability

1. No Warranty: GigoEscrow provides Services on an "as is" and "as available" basis without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
2. Liability Limit: To the fullest extent permitted by law, GigoEscrow, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, and licensors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with the use of or inability to use the Services.

Indemnification

Users agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless GigoEscrow, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, and licensors from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including legal fees, arising out of or in any way connected with their use of the Services or violation of these Terms.

Termination

1. Termination by User: Users may terminate their account at any time by following the instructions on the GigoEscrow website.
2. Termination by GigoEscrow: GigoEscrow reserves the right to suspend or terminate a User’s account and access to the Services at any time, without notice, for conduct that it believes violates these Terms or is harmful to other Users or GigoEscrow.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

Dispute Resolution

1. Negotiation: Users agree to first attempt to resolve any dispute informally by contacting GigoEscrow.
2. Arbitration: If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it will be settled by binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of Lagos Court of Arbitration (LCA), to be conducted in Lekki-Epe Expressway, Near Chevron Drive Lekki Peninsula, Lagos, Nigeria.

Changes to Terms

GigoEscrow may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify Users of any material changes by posting the updated Terms on our website and indicating the effective date. Continued use of the Services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
